Teach at Bee Balm Studio
Bee Balm Studio hosts skill-based classes and workshops for artists and creatives interested in focused, hands-on instruction. We partner with practicing artists and instructors to offer structured learning experiences that support ongoing development.
Our studio is best suited for small, intentional groups, typically 5 to 8 participants, with some flexibility depending on the workshop.
We are especially interested in process-based classes such as drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed media, portfolio development, and critique-based or studio sessions, as well as other creative practices that emphasize skill-building and artistic exploration. We welcome one-time workshops, multi-week courses, intensives, and recurring classes.
Instructors lead the creative direction of their class, and we provide support with space, scheduling, registration, and promotion. Instructors set their own pricing, and we typically begin with a 70/30 revenue share, with the majority going to the instructor, with flexibility as classes grow.
This is a good fit for artists and creatives with an active practice who are excited to lead structured, skill-building experiences. Teaching experience is helpful but not required. We also welcome classes that explore or pilot new ideas, as long as this is clearly communicated to participants.
Interested in teaching?
Submit a class proposal using the form below. We review proposals on a rolling basis and will follow up within 1 to 2 weeks if your idea is a good fit for our programming.
Please note that submitting a proposal does not guarantee a teaching opportunity. We curate our programming based on alignment with Bee Balm Studio’s focus and capacity.
What to expect
If your proposal is selected, we will work together to finalize your class details, schedule, and pricing. You will provide a description, images, and bio, and complete a simple agreement prior to teaching.
